Stage Pin connectors, power distribution equipment and emergency transfer systems for the entertainment industry

The amount of power available for lighting and audio us often allows the installation of multiple Company Switches. A mix of 400A., 200A. and 100A. switches is common practice. In many cases these are placed at various locations around a stage for practical reasons. However, it is also common to mount several Company Switches adjacent to each other in a large matrix of enclosures. Each unit must be installed independently, requiring a conduit run and mounting labor for each switch. Union Connector has developed a cost-saving and space efficient alternative to separate Company Switches.

The Company Switch with Multiple Breakers has a single enclosure with two or more breakers that provide a disconnecting means for multiple sets of outlets. Installation is simpler, requiring only a single conduit run, and one enclosure to mount on the wall. Installation is less expensive and if the unit includes a Main breaker, it can reduce the cost of upstream panelboards.
