| Union Connector manufactures a variety of touring and storage cases for use in the industry. ATA style road cases are used with RackBox portable power distribution units. These cases are fitted with a foam protected interior box containing EIA standard rack mounting hardware, and can be fitted with various types of hardware for mounting electronic or grip gear. This style of case is extremely rugged, and will last for years in the harshest touring environments. Versions of the ATA type case can be manufactured for use as touring/shipping containers for cameras, lights, and other fragile gear that travels on location. Each unit is designed and built to fit the exact dimensional requirements of the equipment it carries. Foam padding cut to the shape of the equipment can be provided, as well as special internal bracing to insure against damage from over eager crewmembers. All Union cases are fabricated of plywood with ABS laminate applied at the factory. All edge channels are riveted aluminum extrusions, and all corners are protected with steel corner guards. Case interiors can be painted, carpeted or foam padded, depending upon the application. Handles, latches, hinges, casters and a variety of hardware is available on all case designs. |
