Standard Distros

The Standard DistroBox models are designed around a system approach to power distribution. By combining a number of these boxes the user can easily distribute 1200A. of 3 Phase power down to multiple 20, 60 and 100A. circuits. DistroBox enclosures are anozied 5052-H32 marine grade aluminum. All wiring devices are UL Listed grounding type. Each outlet is proteced by a UL Listed 10,000 AIC branch rated breaker. All DistroBoxes are UL listed for use in the United States and Canada.

Rubber Distros

The Union Connector Rubber DistroBox is designed for applications that can be challenging for standard aluminum boxes. Movie location and set lighting often occur in adverse weather conditions. The use of these new rubber boxes provides the lighting crew with a usable and durable distro in a compact package. The entire enclosure is hard rubber molded into a box shape. Wiring devices and breakers are securely mounted inside the enclosure, and connected with copper conductors.

Rack Mount Distros

The RackBox distro is a specialized unit designed to be mounted in a standard 19” EIA rack. This type of distro can have a rating from 30A. single phase to 400A.three phase. A touring case fitted with a set of EIA rails is the best way to provide a rack mount for the RackBox. The case can be provided by Union Connector, or one can be shipped to our factory by the customer for installation by Union Connector electricians.Each RackBox is built to customer requirements. • All units are UL Listed. • Enclosure materials : Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Galvanized Steel, Steel. • Meters: Analog, Digital, Multi. •All circuits are protected by 10,000 AIC branch rated breakers. •Connector options: Stage Pin, Straight Blade, Twist lock, Cam, 19 Pin, Pin & Sleeve. •All componets are UL Listed or Recognized.

These are the standard cable sizes available. All extension cables are built using UL Listed Extra Hard Usage cable. Cable size and type is listed for each ampacity.
