| UC700 is a complete UL 1008 Listed Emergency Automatic Transfer System ( ATS ). The system contains all the control and power circuits required for complete independent automatic transfer of groups of branch circuits. UC700 is unique in providing standard ATS functions in an enclosure containing large quantities of transfer poles. A standard UC700 system enclosure may have from two to seventy-two transfer poles. Since the Hot and Neutral legs of each circuit must be transferred, a single system can provide transfer switching for up to twenty-four circuits. Each transfer pole consists of a double-throw switch for transferring a single line load between two power sources ( Normal and Emergency ). Individual transfer poles are available in current ratings of 20A. These transfer poles have an AIC rating of 10,000A. and a maximum voltage rating of 600V. UC700 transfer switches are electrically-operated / mechanically-held, as required by the National Electric Code and NFPA 110 - Emergency and Standby Power Systems. All UC700 systems meet or exceed these standards. The UC700 also contains ancillary, isolated self-supervising control ports for signal I/O. These ports can be used for a variety of applications, such as fire alarms, dimmer failure signals or remote control stations. |
